Controller Manager - Remote

Overview

Our client is a 100% Mexican distribution company dedicated to wholesale and retail pharmaceutical products aimed at the health sector and professionals in the field.

In Short

• Creation of the Controller Area.
• Design and implement processes and standards for efficient financial and administrative operations.
• Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Supervise payroll calculations and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
• Coordinate tax calculations and ensure timely compliance.
• Supervise general accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Design and implement internal controls to protect company assets.
• Lead and coordinate the financial-accounting team.
• Align financial objectives with overall company strategy.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or retail sector is preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. Master's or CPA/CFA certification preferred.
• 7-12 years in accounting, tax, payroll, and financial planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in creating areas, processes, and standards within a pharmaceutical or retail organization.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis).
• Solid knowledge of Mexican labor and tax legislation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Strategic planning capability.
• Effective leadership and assertive communication.
• Problem-solving skills and results-oriented approach.
