Risk Consultant II - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a risk control professional who is technically proficient, self-motivated, and results-driven to provide safety and risk-management services to customers throughout California.

In Short

• Conduct onsite facility evaluations to assess operational exposures.
• Determine scope and schedule of preventative maintenance programs.
• Assist in evaluating facility protections for building occupancy.
• Complete detailed reports for various lines of business.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Provide advanced risk management services to clients.
• Conduct job-site safety inspections and OSHA seminars.
• Maintain expertise in commercial property and employee safety.
• Develop and conduct safety training programs.
• Execute service proposals and plans for qualified accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-5 years of insurance safety consulting experience.
• High level of independence and self-motivation.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA Standards, and DOT regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% including overnight stays.
• Desire to pursue professional safety designations.
