Exhaust System Design and Release Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position will be responsible for the design, development, timing and production release of a vehicle line Exhaust System and/or underbody heat shields. Other responsibilities will include quality improvements, value optimization, weight reduction and other efficiency improvement initiatives including communicating technical product status to management.

• 3+ years of automotive engineering experience preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of design/development automotive engineering experience.
• Self-starter with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R preferred.
• Design for Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
• General understanding of NX and TeamCenter preferred.
• Prototype experience is a plus.
• Experience in Formula SAE or Baja is beneficial.
