Electrical Designer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Designer to join our team and support a major client in the Rail sector. The resource will be responsible for electrical design aimed at drafting specifications, electrical diagrams, and material lists for distribution systems.

In Short

• Drafting technical specifications (system architecture, requirement traceability, material procurement)
• Creating electrical diagrams and related material lists according to industry technical standards
• Sizing of electrical systems (AC and/or DC) and defining materials
• Sizing of special connections (RF, fiber optics, serial signals, ETH, etc.) and defining materials
• Providing technical support during production and commissioning phases
• Coordinating within the work team and with other company departments involved in the activities

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Good knowledge of electrical distribution and automation systems
• Good knowledge of English
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, preferably SPAC Automation
• Good knowledge of Office applications
• At least 1 year of experience in electrical design in the industrial/automation field
• Preferred knowledge of electrical test instrumentation (multimeter, network analyzer, oscilloscope)
• Teamwork skills
