Design and Release Engineer Jr (Powertrain) - Remote

Overview

The DRE is responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing, and release of powertrain systems. This position is to work permanently remotely with availability to travel occasionally, all candidates must reside and be legally authorized to work in Mexico.

• Responsible for engineering and design of powertrain systems.
• Development and validation of assigned components.
• Communicating technical product status and competitor benchmarking.
• Coordinating packaging with adjacent departments.
• Working with virtual validation groups.
• Maintaining and updating DVP&R and DFMEA.
• Supporting and managing suppliers for quality actions.
• Availability to travel occasionally.
• Must reside and be authorized to work in Mexico.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• 1-2 years experience in automotive industry preferred.
• Design experience in electronic modules and internal combustion engine components.
• Experience with Catia V5, NX, and Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation plans.
• Advanced English (B2/C1) required.
