Overview

The Control Board Design & Release Engineer (DRE) is responsible for the development and verification of control board products for electric vehicle platforms, requiring a strong systems-focused approach and interdisciplinary expertise.

In Short

• Develop cost-effective and reliable control boards.
• Participate in sourcing activities for Power Inverter Module Control Boards.
• Conduct supplier technical review meetings.
• Develop power electronic controller DVP&R and verification testing.
• Procure components for internal development teams.
• Execute Change Notices for design changes.
• Interface with development teams for integration.
• Support creating Component Specifications.
• Participate in supplier assessments.
• Track progress of component development and production.

Requirements

• BS degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience or MS degree in electronics design and development.
• Ability to read/interpret Circuit Schematics.
• Knowledge in DFMEA, DVP&R, and Validation Plans.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Detail-oriented and accurate with work.
