We are actively seeking a skilled and empathetic Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our expanding healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care, focusing on comprehensive patient evaluations, accurate diagnoses, and effective medication management.

In Short

• Perform detailed mental health assessments and formulate precise diagnostic evaluations.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, addressing medical concerns and coordinating follow-up care.
• Prescribe, adjust, and manage psychiatric medications.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory results.
• Engage in collaborative interactions with healthcare providers.
• Provide thorough patient and family education regarding mental health conditions.
• Continuously monitor patient responses to medications.
• Maintain comprehensive and current patient records.
• Manage a detailed patient schedule.
• Comply with federal and state regulations concerning psychiatric medications.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Active RN and NP licenses, along with a valid CA DEA license.
• Current Malpractice Insurance coverage.
• A minimum of three years of experience as a PMHNP.
• Extensive knowledge of psychiatric disorders and medication management.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound understanding of mental health and emotional disorders.
