Medical Scribe - Remote

In Short

• Perform chart preparation per clinic protocol
• Accompany the provider in all scheduled patient visits
• Document the patient history, physical exam, procedures, and patient plan
• Remind provider of relevant quality metrics
• Enter laboratory and radiographic studies
• Enter medication orders
• Document and print instructions for the patient
• Review completed charts with the provider
• Update provider preference and clinic preference documents

Requirements

• Typing speed of at least 60+ WPM
• Available to work 30-40 hours per week
• Must have a HIPAA-compliant workspace
• Fluent in English with excellent writing and speaking skills
• Bachelor's Degree or 1-2 years equivalent experience required
• Pre-health career track preferred
• GPA > 3.5 preferred
• Knowledgeable with medical terminology and human anatomy
