Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Security Technician to join our team, where you will install, configure, and maintain security systems in various environments.

In Short

• Install and maintain access control and intrusion detection systems.
• Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
• Use power and hand tools for installations.
• Run and terminate cables, connect hardware, and verify system functionality.
• Resolve issues during installation and service.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work closely with other technicians to coordinate tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and facility guidelines.
• Two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum two years in electronics technology.

Requirements

• Experience with alarm devices and access control hardware.
• Familiarity with AC and low-voltage DC systems.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficient in installation and maintenance of physical security systems.
• Minimum Clearance Required: Secret.
