Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

We're looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to shape and refine our data pipelines. As the first professional in this role, your collaboration with our data analysts and scientists will be essential in constructing the infrastructure for previously untapped data resources.

In Short

• Develop and optimize data pipeline and architecture for mobile apps and other data sources.
• Build and maintain big data systems on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop data models, schemas, metadata and perform data profiling.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts.
• Keep data architecture up-to-date with advancements in big data technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience as a data engineer.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with SQL databases.
• Experience building large-scale data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Snowflake.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
