Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Accounting Manager /Accounting Manager to join the finance team. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage our accounting day to day operations, including billing and collection, vendor payments, accounting month end close and financial reporting. This role will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial records, optimizing accounting processes, and supporting compliance with accounting standards.

In Short

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of monthly accounting close.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards.
• Manage customer invoicing and payment collections and monitor accounts receivable aging.
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate billing and timely cash collection.
• Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments.
• Support tax filings, including sales tax compliance and reporting.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
• Big 4 or CPA firm experience is strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• High degree of integrity and honesty with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally.
