Trader - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Trader to join our fantastic team at Root. This role is integral to ensuring client and advisor success via the smooth execution of trades and consistency of portfolio alignment.

In Short

• A passion for helping clients get the most out of life with their money
• Leverage iRebal and other portfolio management tools to rebalance client portfolios and manage cash flows across multiple accounts
• Work closely with advisors to address client needs
• Monitor and maintain portfolio allocations
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Assist in performance reporting and trade analysis

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in trading or portfolio management
• Proficiency with iRebal and experience with other trading platforms
• Strong understanding of asset allocation and rebalancing
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; relevant certifications are a plus
