Project Engineer, Embedded Software - Remote

Overview

This role in the Embedded Software organization is a specialized role that blends DevOps, software engineering, quality assurance and IT operations skills into one. You will be part of a team that manages tooling and infrastructure support for both software and firmware for Logix controllers.

In Short

• Build and maintain automation pipelines and workflows.
• Create automated scripts for testing and deployment processes.
• Manage and provision cloud infrastructure and services.
• Automate security controls and configuration management.
• Participate in an agile team within the Scaled Agile Framework.
• Instrument applications for monitoring and logging.
• Perform routine audits to ensure quality and security standards.
• Identify technical debt and minimize its impact.
• Mentor less experienced personnel.
• Align workflows with business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• 8+ years of Test/DevOps experience preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo.
• Expert-level technical background in DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products is a plus.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Technical leadership experience in an agile setting.
