Project Manager (Industrial Automation) - Remote

Overview

This role is an external customer-facing position at Rockwell Automation, where you will manage multiple projects in industrial automation, coordinating between the company and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

In Short

• Manage 20-40 projects simultaneously.
• Projects range from $5,000 to $500,000 and vary in duration.
• Act as the commercial lead and primary contact for customers.
• Coordinate status updates with all stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage risks and update project forecasts.
• Create estimates and negotiate contracts with customers.
• Work remotely within the United States.
• Lead and motivate a geographically dispersed team.
• Potential travel to customer sites for project implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• US Citizenship is required due to customer requirements.
• Minimum of 2+ years of project management experience.
• Technical degree preferred.
• PMP certification preferred or willingness to pursue.
• Ability to manage complex projects with high-quality standards.
• Technical experience with electro-mechanical systems and software development.
• Experience with drive systems and PLCs.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
