Overview

The Purchaser is responsible for fulfilling requisition orders for materials, tools, equipment, and services, ensuring they are sourced cost-effectively and available on time for projects.

In Short

• Source mid-risk materials and services cost-effectively
• Maintain the project Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Create purchase orders (POs) with applicable terms
• Ensure all pertinent information is included in POs
• Utilize and maintain the material database
• Manage the entire PO process from identification to close out
• Collaborate as part of a project team
• Complete other tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager

Requirements

• Experience in procurement and sourcing
• Understanding of project management principles
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail in maintaining BOM and POs
