Senior Assistant Actuary - Structured Finance - Remote

Overview

The Senior Assistant Actuary - Structured Finance supports capital management functions of Structured Finance, including the design and reporting of reinsurance transactions supporting regulatory capital of insurance entities and rating agency capital of the organization.

In Short

• Supports the development and management of tools to enhance collateral management information critical to capital management.
• Assists with group regulatory reporting, including capital and liquidity stress testing.
• Develops new deal/entity models for proposed transactions.
• Completes quarterly reporting for Structured Finance transactions.
• Serves as substitute for RGA systems used in quarterly reporting.
• Updates deal/transaction models with actual results.
• Supports statutory reporting requirements for captive entities.
• Assists with preparation of capital calculations and liquidity stress testing.
• Provides support to Corporate Modeling, Valuation, and Financial Analysis.
• Enhances collateral management by developing tools for asset insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or related field.
• 4+ Years of actuarial experience in life insurance/reinsurance.
• 5+ Years of actuarial experience in valuation and/or financial reporting preferred.
• ASA accreditation and 1+ FSA Exams.
• MAAA accreditation preferred.
• Advanced PC and technical skills, including database applications.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Competent project management skills.
• Complex analytical and problem-solving skills.
