Overview

As a Cloud Engineer at Ikerian AG, you will play a critical role in optimizing our cloud infrastructure to meet our customers’ needs, ensuring a seamless, secure, and scalable experience on our platform.

In Short

• Enhance and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable AWS cloud environments.
• Manage tasks in the cloud infrastructure backlog for immediate needs and long-term improvements.
• Set up infrastructure monitoring and observability solutions.
• Assess new technologies for production readiness.
• Prepare and maintain documentation on cloud processes and architectures.
• Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Conduct POCs on new AWS services and tools.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency with core AWS services like IAM, S3, RDS, VPC, ECS, EC2.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Node.js.
• Good knowledge of cloud security principles and services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Basic understanding of cloud networking concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
