Resource Innovations is seeking an Assistant Controller to join our growing team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Controller with a strong background in Accounting and Financial Reporting to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Controller, you will support the VP, Accounting in overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, assisting in budgeting, and maintaining the integrity of financial processes. The Assistant Controller also plays a key role in managing audits, internal controls, and the preparation of financial statements.

In Short

• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements.
• Support daily accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure internal controls are established and enforced.
• Work with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Monitor compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Assist in timely filing of corporate taxes.
• Analyze financial data to support management decisions.

Requirements

• Strong background in Accounting and Financial Reporting.
• Experience with GAAP or IFRS.
• Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes.
