Chief Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Chief Engineer is responsible for the operational management and effective daily leadership of the engineering team, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery and systems.

In Short

• Lead the engineering team in daily operations.
• Ensure 100% uptime of engineering systems.
• Monitor and maintain HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Oversee repair and preventive maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of facility-related work experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing technicians.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to access equipment components as required.
