Senior UX/UI Designer - Mobile & Web Apps - Remote

Overview

We are developing READO, a leading social platform for book enthusiasts. Our goal is to create the Spotify equivalent for the book market - an ambitious undertaking that combines community, inspiration, and commerce on one platform. Over 180,000 monthly active users already use READO, making the app a central place for book lovers.

Until now, all design has been managed by the founders. We are now looking for a UX/UI Designer to elevate the design to the next level - from user flows to prototyping to a consistent design system. This role offers the opportunity to shape a product with a large and active community that is used intensively every day.

In Short

• You will be responsible for the design of our mobile and web apps with a focus on complex social and product UX.
• You will elevate the design quality and bring fresh visual concepts.
• You will create design systems in Figma, develop responsive layouts, and build component-based UI elements.
• You will work closely with our development team to ensure clean implementation.
• You will support the marketing team with visual assets for campaigns and social media.
• You will utilize user feedback (interviews) and tools like Hotjar or GA for data-driven UX optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design of digital products, ideally social or community platforms.
• Strong portfolio cases with mobile, social-first, or community-driven applications.
• Very good knowledge of Figma (Auto Layout, Variables, Tokens, Prototyping, Dev Handoff).
• Experience with design systems, responsive design, and visual design (icons, branding, assets).
• Familiar with analytics-informed UX and usability optimization.
