QuickVisit Urgent Care is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide telepsychiatry care to rural communities in Iowa, aiming to improve access to mental healthcare.

In Short

Remote position serving rural communities in Iowa.
Responsible for psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
Work with patients experiencing various mental health issues.
Conduct one new patient evaluation every hour.
Collaborate with a physician, though not specialized in mental health.
Maintain appropriate state licensure and comply with regulations.
Strong communication skills required for interdisciplinary coordination.
Schedule includes Wednesdays and some weekends.
Malpractice insurance provided.
Minimum of 1 year psychiatric experience preferred.

Requirements

Board certification as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Licensed in Iowa with a valid DEA number.
Experience in psychiatric care preferred.
