QuickVisit Urgent Care is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide telepsychiatry care to rural communities in Iowa, focusing on improving access to mental healthcare.

In Short

• Provide telepsychiatry care to rural communities.
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and manage medications.
• Work with patients of all ages with various mental health conditions.
• Conduct one new patient evaluation every hour.
• Collaborate with a physician for support.
• Maintain state licensure and adhere to regulations.
• Participate in treatment team meetings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills required.
• Schedule includes Wednesdays and some weekends.

Requirements

• Board certification as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Licensed in Iowa with a valid DEA number.
• Preferred 1 year of psychiatric experience.
