Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Qualia, you will be a critical guardian of our core Resware systems and associated internal workflows. Your primary mission is to ensure the lights stay on, services remain robust, and our operational processes are well-understood and continuously improved.

In Short

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
• Maintain and enhance internal R&D tools.
• Oversee the stability and functionality of the Resware installer.
• Lead incident management and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate on proactive monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Document systems and processes for knowledge transfer.
• Identify automation opportunities within existing systems.
• Provide feedback to development teams for stability improvements.
• Understand business impact to prioritize issues effectively.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to diverse audiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Technical Support Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer role.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server environments and IIS management.
• Proficiency in .NET framework applications.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Familiarity with scripting and IaC languages like PowerShell and Terraform.
• Experience with Azure and cloud services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Experience with Resware or the title and escrow industry is a plus.
