Overview

The Senior Designer for Women & Kids' Apparel at PURPLE will play a pivotal role in redefining denim culture through innovative design, collaborating closely with the Creative Director to execute the brand's creative vision.

In Short

• Conduct seasonal market and trend research.
• Develop concepts and create CAD sketches.
• Present designs to the Creative Director and Product Development team.
• Design across multiple product categories.
• Ensure consistency within assigned product categories.
• Utilize strong Illustrator skills for design sketches.
• Develop comprehensive tech packs.
• Collaborate with overseas vendors and internal teams.
• Partner with Product Development on fit-related matters.
• Lead and manage responsibilities among direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.
• 6+ years of design experience.
• Prior experience in denim design and development is a must.
• Deep understanding of luxury streetwear and design aesthetics.
• Strong knowledge of tech packs and garment construction.
