Electrical Engineer - Owner's Engineering, Development Engineering & Quality Assurance - Remote

Overview

Pure Power Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Owners Engineering group, specializing in owners engineering, development engineering and quality assurance to provide Nationwide engineering services for investors, owners and financiers of commercial and utility scale solar PV and energy storage projects. This person will possess a wide range of knowledge & experience, in the development, design, installation, & operation of commercial and utility scale solar PV & energy storage systems.

• Conduct technical due diligence on designs by third party EORs.
• Review drawings, reports, RFIs, submittals, & contracts.
• Generate PVsyst models & evaluate 3rd party models.
• Conduct on-site visual inspections for workmanship and compliance.
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders.
• Execute multiple projects in various stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• Experience in commercial and utility scale solar PV.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD & PVsyst.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• 2+ years’ experience in solar engineering and PV Industry.
