Public Knowledge is a nonprofit technology policy organization dedicated to promoting freedom of expression, an open internet, and access to affordable communications tools and creative works. The organization engages in advocacy efforts that include outreach to the U.S. Congress, the executive branch, and administrative agencies, as well as filing administrative comments, submitting amicus briefs, hosting public education events, building coalitions, and producing white papers and blog posts. Public Knowledge offers legal advocacy internships that allow participants to engage in various aspects of their work, focusing on public interest technology policy issues such as internet, telecommunications, copyright, and privacy.
