Medical Illustrator - Remote

Overview

The Medical Illustrator is responsible for producing medical illustrations and animations for standalone use or in support of larger print, video, and interactive web works in a fulltime remote position.

• Produce medical illustrations and animations.

• Maintain a library of medical illustrations and animations.

• Conduct research on medical illustration trends.
• Apply design skills to non-medical projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Illustration or Fine Art preferred.
• Board certification in Medical Illustration preferred.
• Proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with human physiology and anatomy.
• Knowledge of digital design and animation tools.
• Experience with 2D and/or 3D animation preferred.
• Scanning and digital photography experience useful.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills.
