Overview

The Trauma Registry Analyst supports the Prisma Health Trauma Program by managing the Trauma Registry Data, ensuring compliance with state and national standards, and performing data abstraction and coding.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in HIM or related healthcare field preferred.
• One year of relevant healthcare experience.
• Completion of AAAM course and Trauma Registry Course within one year of hire.
• ICD-10 Coding course completion required within one year of hire.
• Preferred certifications include CSTR or CAISS.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
• Experience with healthcare data management preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma quality improvement programs.
