Overview

The Network Operations Center Manager will lead a team in managing a 24/7 network operations center, ensuring effective operations and resolving complex issues in telecommunications.

• Supervise the Telecommunications NOC team for 24x7x365 coverage.
• Coordinate personnel response during outages or service-impacting events.
• Serve as an escalation point for NOC-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve challenges.
• Create and monitor operational reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Maintain standard operating procedures.
• Train and develop staff through coaching.
• Manage vendor relationships for hardware and network vendors.
• Administer network systems and perform circuit activations.

Requirements

• 5 years experience with end-user support.
• 5 years in Telephony switches and Networks.
• 3 years experience with Router maintenance.
• Associates Degree in Telecommunications or equivalent.
• Advanced troubleshooting with carriers and vendors.
• Solid understanding of IP networking.
