Overview

As a doula in the Pomelo network, you will educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. You will play a vital role in improving birth outcomes by ensuring that families feel supported and empowered during this transformative time.

• Be part of a community of nearly 600 doulas.
• Work virtually and in-person, accommodating family needs.
• Complete credentialing process including verification of doula certification.
• Not eligible for employee benefits as this is a contract role.
• Support for enrolling with Florida state Medicaid if needed.

Requirements

• Completed certification/training as a birth and/or full spectrum doula.
• Experience working as a doula with understanding of pregnancy and childbirth.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using tele-health platforms and electronic documentation.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
