Senior/Staff DevSecOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior/Staff DevSecOps role focuses on owning the vision for our pipeline tooling and infrastructure as well as cloud and cluster hardening. We strive to shift left work on hardening our application and ensuring we build golden paths.

In Short

• Define how engineering teams build secure solutions by automating guardrails throughout the pipeline.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code security policies and improve auto-remediation.
• Deep dive into security subjects related to Kubernetes & AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with DevX and SRE teams for automated CI/CD security checks.
• Drive organization-wide security initiatives.
• Plan and manage the security roadmap.
• Balance controls against data classifications.
• Support teams through platform building and coaching.
• Engage in discussions on cloud security topics.
• Embrace a learning mindset and tackle complex problems.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with programming languages (Python, TypeScript, Golang).
• Expertise in automating CI/CD pipelines security checks.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud services and security models.
• Understanding of PCI DSS, GDPR, or PSD2 requirements (nice to have).
