In Short

• The Mechanical Engineer is a Part time and independent Contractor position.
• Support the Planate Management Group's Global Technical Support Center (GTSC).
• Design and prepare detailed design drawings and project specifications.
• Carry out preliminary field investigations for HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Select appropriate materials and equipment for projects.
• Coordinate with CAD personnel in preparing design drawings.
• Maintain and update technical data and drawings.
• Coordinate with superiors on project requirements.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer.
• 3-5 years in mechanical engineering design (HVAC, BAS, Piping, sprinkler design).
• Familiarity with Federal building design criteria is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong English communication skills.
