Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at PixieBrix, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our browser extension and web applications through full cycle quality assurance processes.

In Short

• Full cycle quality assurance for PixieBrix’s Chrome/MS Edge browser extension and web application.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams including product managers and designers.
• Develop detailed feature and regression test plans.
• Facilitate issue identification, reporting, and verification.
• Perform manual regression testing, feature testing, and exploratory testing.
• Conduct performance benchmarking.
• Implement test automation using Playwright and Rainforest QA.
• Work in a fully distributed team environment.

Requirements

• Strong ownership over QA process and results.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Playwright, Rainforest QA, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
• Familiarity with low-code tools such as Zapier and AirTable.
• Experience testing browser extensions is a plus.
• Experience testing AI products is a plus.
