Overview

PeopleFun is seeking a Senior 2D Game Artist to support the development of their newest IP, Wordscapes Solitaire. This role requires a strong UI background and involves creating iconography, graphic design, and illustrations for an exceptional game experience.

In Short

• Produce and refine UI/UX, illustrations, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the Art director and designers to ensure UI adheres to design principles.
• Create assets, scenes, and prefabs in Unity.
• Translate abstract ideas into clear designs through sketches and mockups.
• Contribute ideas for new themes and events.
• Ensure consistent style and quality of features.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for asset integration.
• Refine assets to improve visual consistency and appeal.
• Manage tasks effectively and collaborate with producers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in 2D art creation for mobile games.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in art fundamentals.
• Experience across all production stages.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and familiarity with Figma.
• Understanding of usability design principles and UX wireframes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and openness to feedback.
• Familiarity with Unity for scene setup and UI implementation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
