Accountant - Work From Home - Remote

Overview

We are currently looking for an Accountant for a great work from home opportunity. This position is 100% Remote.

In Short

• Perform day-to-day accounting duties primarily in accounts payable and cash management.
• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.
• Assist with monthly close activities and financial audits.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and automation.
• Understand and apply regulatory and accounting rules.
• Interact with company personnel and management as needed.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher).
• 1 - 3 years of accounting experience.
• Sound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with General Ledger (GL).
• Public accounting (Big 4) experience a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office software with advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA/Macros a plus).
• Basic programming skills and/or SQL knowledge a plus.
• CPA a plus.
• Technologically focused with a drive toward efficiency.
• Problem solver with superior analytical skills.
