Principal Consultant, Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) - Remote

Overview

The Principal Consultant will lead and produce deliverables based on reactive services client engagements, managing incident response engagements and providing guidance for remediation.

• Perform reactive incident response functions on various operating systems.
• Examine logs to identify malicious activity.

• Manage incident response engagements and guide clients.

• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• 6+ years of incident response or digital forensics experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Proficient in host-based forensics.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Requirements

• Experience with EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, SIFT, Splunk, and other forensic tools.
• Ability to manage complicated engagements.
• Strong communication skills with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel as needed (average 20%).
• Experience in public speaking and publications.
