Senior iOS Engineer, App Sync - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join our mobile team and shape the future of human-centered health technology. This is a high-impact role where you will lead the design and delivery of robust, scalable features for our iOS app — especially those involving complex mobile-cloud synchronization challenges.

In Short

• Architect and build scalable, high-performance iOS features and systems across squads.
• Take full ownership of synchronization between the app and backend services.
• Collaborate with the cloud engineering team to co-design interfaces and APIs.
• Act as a technical authority for mobile-cloud interactions.
• Work with Combine and DispatchQueue to build responsive systems.
• Deliver technical documentation and mentor peers.
• Support feature work by delivering core synchronization infrastructure improvements.
• Identify system-level pain points and reduce technical debt.

Requirements

• 5+ years of iOS development experience using Swift.
• Expertise in handling time-series data and data accuracy.
• Deep knowledge of data privacy principles.
• Experience building mobile-to-cloud synchronization systems.
• Strong command of concurrency and reactive frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience owning complex projects.
• Clear communicator and empathetic collaborator.
