We are seeking a Remote Sensing AI Researcher to design machine learning infrastructure and collaborate with various teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

• Conduct novel research applying AI/ML to satellite hyperspectral imagery.
• Transition research to production and deploy models for batch and online inference.
• Produce analytical infrastructure for AI/ML pipeline development.
• Mentor colleagues on AI/ML opportunities.

• 3+ years experience in ML/AIMS or PhD in relevant fields.
• Proficient in Python, Pytorch, and cloud environments (AWS).
• Familiar with remote sensing data types and tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in ML/AIMS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or similar.
• Proficiency in Python, Pytorch, ML Flow/ClearML, DVC, Ray, Dask.
• Experience training models in a cloud (AWS) environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with remote sensing data types and tools like GeoTiffs, GDAL, rasterio, xarray.
