Middle Manual QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

The project involves the development of a digital platform designed to streamline the charter cargo booking process for freight forwarders, enhancing speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in the booking process.

In Short

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to analyze requirements and clarify acceptance criteria.
• Provide effort estimations for test coverage during story refinement and sprint planning.
• Design and document detailed manual test cases in Xray.
• Coordinate with QA Automation Engineers to review manual test cases.
• Execute various types of manual testing to validate new and existing features.
• Log clear, reproducible bugs and follow up on their resolution.
• Participate in sprint demos showcasing new features and test results.
• Prepare and deliver Manual Test Reports at the end of each sprint.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer in an Agile development environment.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with test case management tools, particularly Xray for Jira.
• Strong skills in test planning, documentation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain good relationships with stakeholders.
