Overview

The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the company’s general ledger, handling reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

• Manage and maintain the general ledger (GL).
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports including balance sheets and income statements.
• Ensure timely posting of journal entries and adjustments.
• Monitor and reconcile bank and vendor accounts.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Handle audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Provide financial insights to management.
• Maintain and manage accounting software (Xero).

Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Philippines.
• At least 5 years of experience in GL accounting.
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to work with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to improve accounting processes.
• Good communication skills.
