General Accountant for a B2B Hotel Tech Start-up in The Netherlands - Remote

Overview

The General Accountant will play a critical role in managing the company's financial operations, focusing on customer invoicing and ensuring compliance with Dutch VAT regulations.

In Short

• Manage the end-to-end customer invoicing process using Ordway.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations in Xero.
• Process supplier bills and prepare payment batches.
• Prepare manual journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Collaborate with an external firm for Dutch VAT reporting.
• Support financial analysis and annual budgeting.
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams.
• 3-5+ years of experience in general accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in Xero and experience with Ordway is a plus.
