Accounting Manager for Mid-size European Company - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Manager with a strong background in European accounting standards to lead our accounting operations and provide strategic financial oversight.

In Short

• Oversee all accounting functions including GL management and financial reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with European financial regulations and VAT requirements.

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• At least 8 years of accounting experience, with 5 years in a managerial role.
• Solid understanding of European accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
