The Platform Engineer role at Onebrief focuses on building and scaling the foundations of our COTS application across government environments, ensuring fast and reliable delivery while adhering to DoD requirements.

In Short

Join the Platform team to enhance Onebrief’s operational capabilities.
Automate, secure, and scale the platform for product teams.
Design and manage cloud and on-prem environments using Terraform and Ansible.
Improve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
Implement monitoring and logging solutions with Prometheus and Grafana.
Balance cost, performance, and security in managing resources.
Document architectures and runbooks, mentoring teammates.
5+ years of experience in Platform, DevOps, or SRE.
U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance required.
Bonus points for DoD experience and relevant certifications.

Requirements

5+ years in Platform, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Proficiency in container orchestration with Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Eligibility for a Top Secret clearance.
U.S. citizenship required.
