Finance Operations Manager - Remote

Overview

We are hiring a Finance Operations Manager to own the operational backbone of our finance function. This is a hands-on, analytical role responsible for budget tracking, expense management, forecasting, and owning the company’s AP and AR operations, while partnering closely with project leadership and the CFO.

In Short

• Own end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Execute and oversee vendor payments and invoice review
• Own client invoicing, billing schedules, and collections follow-ups
• Maintain and update company-wide and project-level budgets
• Produce weekly and monthly financial reports for leadership
• Track actuals vs. forecast and identify variances early
• Identify cost overruns and savings opportunities
• Partner with sales and leadership to keep projects financially healthy
• Support scenario modeling for hiring, revenue, and margin planning
• Improve processes, tools, and controls as the company scales

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience in finance operations, FP&A, or accounting
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and expense management
• Experience working with remote or globally distributed accounting teams
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets and financial modeling skills
• Comfortable working with accounting and expense systems
• High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking
• Ability to translate messy data into actionable financial insight
• Highly organized, reliable, and process-driven
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
• Willing to surface issues early and push for clarity
