Nucleus Global has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Editor to join our team, responsible for reviewing and editing a wide range of medical materials while ensuring adherence to editorial standards.

In Short

• Review and edit manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
• Ensure editorial accuracy and style consistency.
• Edit for grammar, spelling, and flow.
• Proofread layouts against approved copy.
• Research medical topics using various sources.
• Maintain in-house and client style guides.
• Contribute to the Copy Talk newsletter.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, journalism, or related field.
• Previous experience as a medical editor.
• Proficiency in AMA style.
• Excellent knowledge of English grammar.
• Ability to understand complex medical materials.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience in oncology is a plus.
• BELS certification is a plus.
