(Senior) Cyber Security Engineer / Consultant - Remote

Overview

This position involves working on complex IT security projects for major corporations and critical infrastructures, focusing on designing and implementing security architectures.

In Short

• Work on significant IT security projects
• Design security infrastructures for large clients
• Migrate legacy networks to Zero Trust architecture
• Consult on hybrid cloud security solutions
• Evaluate and implement new security solutions
• Plan and operate complex security infrastructures
• Conduct analysis and troubleshooting
• Participate in transformations, migrations, and audits
• Provide advice on security technologies and compliance
• Document and maintain technical documents

Requirements

• Experience with NextGen Firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, etc.)
• Knowledge of Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, etc.)
• Familiarity with Authentication Services (MFA, RADIUS, etc.)
• Understanding of PKI and certificate management
• Experience with analysis tools (Wireshark, TcpDump)
• Cloud Security knowledge (Check Point CloudGuard)
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, YAML
• Fluent in German (C1) and English (B1/B2)
