Senior Digital Design Engineer - Remote

Overview

NextSilicon is looking for a talented and experienced engineer to lead design activities and help our group drive the next era of computer architecture. In this position, you will design the critical parts of NextSilicon’s future chips.

In Short

• Design critical parts of future chips.
• Transform architectural requirements into micro-architectural specs.
• Implement key blocks in RTL.
• Participate in post-silicon activities.
• Define and drive design of advanced blocks.
• Support timing and constraints definitions.
• Lead processes relating to power optimization.
• Build a knowledge base for the group.
• Work with various teams to drive execution.
• Monitor and report execution progress.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 8+ years of digital design experience with complex blocks.
• Ability to transform requirements into specification documents.
• Proven record in high-speed and low-power design.
• Experience in front-end tools and analysis: CDC, LINT, power, simulation.
• Team player, versatile and results-oriented.
• Experience in high-speed communication design (PCIE, ETH) or memory design (GDDR, HBM) is an advantage.
