PHP Development QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a skilled PHP Development QA Engineer with a strong background in PHP development and automation testing to join our growing team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and inclusivity.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Cypress.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure the quality of PHP-based applications.
• Identify, log, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Work in a Linux environment and perform basic command-line tasks as needed.
• Integrate and manage tests within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
• Write and execute basic SQL queries to validate data and test backend functionality.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases.

Requirements

• Solid experience in QA and test automation using Cypress.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI tools (a plus).
• Ability to write and understand basic SQL queries (a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
