Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist - Remote

Overview

At Near Space Labs, we design, build, and operate a fleet of stratospheric robots to image the Earth. We are looking for an agile and autonomous specialist capable of structuring our procurement and supply chain strategy from scratch in a critical expansion phase.

In Short

• Implement or improve inventory and procurement systems.
• Own the procurement strategy and execute timely purchases.
• Develop traceability systems for key components.
• Source and manage relationships with key suppliers.
• Analyze inventory levels and optimize stock levels.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Support manufacturing operations and supply chain for flight operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a similar role.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating with technical suppliers.
• Ability to think creatively and use appropriate tools.
• Hands-on experience with software solutions and spreadsheets.
• Understanding of small-scale production workflows.
• Familiarity with startup environments desirable.
• Excellent decision-making and risk management skills.
