Senior Incident Responder - Remote

Overview

The Senior Incident Responder will be part of NBCUniversal's Cyber Threat Operations team, responsible for cyber threat intelligence, event monitoring, and response in a collaborative environment.

In Short

• Provide operational support for Threat Operations.
• Forensically analyze security events and follow incident response frameworks.
• Oversee ticket queues and prioritize escalations.
• Analyze threat data and identify significant security incidents.
• Function as an Incident Handler for security incidents.
• Provide detailed timeline analysis of incidents.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Contribute to the creation of SOAR playbooks and documentation.
• Provide On-Call support during escalated events.
• Participate in Cyber initiatives to enhance incident response capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in Cyber Defense and Incident Response.
• Experience with incident response functions.
• Knowledge of security toolsets and enterprise IT concepts.
• Familiarity with forensics tools and cyber threat landscape.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Ability to work during nontraditional hours.
